It is so nice to be able to open the windows of the house and let all the lovely fresh air inside.  This is the thing I miss most in winter.  It is lovely to sit by a roaring fire, but the air becomes quite stale after a while.

The birds are out singing in force, new buds have appeared on plants/trees  and the whole world looks so much better bathed in sunshine.  A walk would be nice, down to the beach, but unfortunately is out of the question today.

No matter where you are or what you are doing, remember to pause and give thanks.

Able To Breathe Again….

Every now and again life deals us a hand that makes us sit up and take notice.  One such event happened to me last week.  I had had some blood tests done 3-4 weeks ago and had just assumed all was well as I had not heard anything.  Then the doctor called out of the blue to have me come in and see her.  As you can imagine, all kind of things were running through my mind and not one of them was good.  I handed it all over to the universe last night and then had a good nights sleep.  I visited the doctor this morning and, thankfully, all is well.  The relief I felt was palpable.  Very grateful for my health.
